“We don’t need you, we’ve been self-reliance for over 70 years” – Chinese president, Xi sends fresh message to Trump

Chinese President Xi Jinping has spoken about the ongoing trade war between his country and the US.

For over a month now, there have been heated economic clash between China and the United States.

The United States raised tariffs to a higher percentage for all Chinese goods and the Chinese government retaliated.

Speaking about the ongoing trade war, Chinese president caution president Donald Trump, stating that they do not need the United States in the first place.

According to him, China has been self-reliance for the past 70 years and nothing will change that with or without the US.

“For over 70 years, China’s development has relied on self-reliance and hard work — never on handouts from others, and it is not afraid of any unjust suppression.

Regardless of how the external environment changes, China will remain confident, stay focused, and concentrate on managing its own affairs well.” President Xi stated in response to Trump’s latest volley of tariffs on Chinese goods.
