A study conducted by the Pew Research Centre reveals that one in four adults will not get hitched to a partner and will remain single for life.

According to Pew, a quarter of this generation’s young adults will never marry by the age of 50.

This discovery which is very controversial has sparked a huge debate across social media platforms.

Some internet users argue that although some adults have not married, they have great control of their lives and achieve personal growth as compared to those married.

One can choose to remain single, as every individual has their own priorities in life and the need for independence for some may be a driving factor to their single life.

They use this time to focus on their careers, pursue their hobbies, nurture and develop their talents and skills.

Some also choose to be single due to past experiences which may be heartbreak, emotional trauma, a very insurmountable breakup.

Mostly, persons in this category will need some time to heal and regain confidence and stability emotionally before venturing into another or new one.

Relationships is not the sole determined of a happy life as there are other means to have a meaningful life.
