Ugandan man arrested for dressing as a woman to help his girlfriend write her law exams

A Ugandan man, Ammaari Musa Semwogerere’s, also known as Mukisa Anthony has been arrested for disguising himself as his girlfriend to write her exams for her.

Anthony, who was a magistrate decided to step in and dress as a lady to write his girlfriend’s bar exams for her when she was not able to go.

The school officials noticed the disguise and quickly alerted the police. As a result, Anthony was taken into custody and has been charged with two counts of forgery and one count of impersonation.

Anthony was a grade one magistrate who was appointed into office not long ago by the Judicial Service Commission of Uganda.

Following the incident, the Judiciary issued a statement terminating his new appointment as a magistrate.

Excerpts of the statement reads, “The Judiciary would like to inform the general public that Mr Ssemwogerere Ammaari Musa, one of the newly recruited Magistrates Grade I will not be employed into the Judiciary Service.”
