The Analemma Tower is a skyscraper that would be suspended from an asteroid in Earth’s orbit.

This visionary design envisions a building that hovers above the planet, anchored by cables connected to a space-bound rock.

Initially proposed in 2017, this ambitious design envisions the world’s tallest building suspended by a high-strength cable tethered to an asteroid in Earth’s orbit.

The building would follow a figure ID eight path between the northern and southern hemispheres daily, appearing stationary over New York City due to its synchronized orbit with Earth’s rotation.

The tower is intended to trace a figure-eight path over the globe, returning to the same location above Manhattan each day.

Access to the building would be provided via drones or electromagnetic elevators.
