Minority chief whip Slam IGP over recruitment promise to Bawku youths

Minority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh has criticised the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno comments during Bawku visit.

The Member of Parliament Criticized the IGP over what he describes as a reckless and unfortunate statement concerning the ongoing Bawku conflict.

Earlier today, the Inspector General of Police paid a visit to the people of Bawku to see for himself the ongoing violent clashes.

His visit is also aimed at negotiating peace so the people of Bawku can bring the entire issue to rest.

In a bid to achieve that, the Inspector General of Police promised youths of the country slots in a special recruit to the police service.

His statement has raised lots of concerns with many Ghanaians already calling for his dismissal.
