The statement, ‘fear women’ has been on the lips of this generation and everytime it seems women seem to show why they should be feared.
Somewhere in Kenya, a man by name Nkululeko Zulu expressed his grief to the local reporters after his girlfriend of two years, faked an entire pregnancy and staged a funeral for a non-existent child, using a doll placed in a coffin.

According to Zulu, his relationship with Makukeke, began with promise, and he was overjoyed when she announced she was pregnant with his child.
Throughout the supposed pregnancy, Zulu provided emotional and financial support, sending money for medical expenses and other needs as Makukeke claimed to be preparing for motherhood.
“She used to visit often during the early months, but as time went on, she stopped coming,” Zulu told reporters at Daily Sun.
When he asked about the pregnancy, Makukeke informed him that she had given birth in Durban. She however never provided any photos or details about the baby.

After giving birth, Diyana told Zuli that she had lost the baby. Zulu and his family began planning the funeral. He paid for transport from Durban to Mandeni, where the burial was to take place, and covered all funeral costs.
On the day of the funeral, Makukeke arrived a day late in a van, carrying a small coffin she claimed contained their deceased child.
As the funeralwas ongoing, Zulu’s elder brother, insisted the coffin be opened so Nkululeko could see and wipe the baby’s face as custom demands only to discover a doll in there.
“I almost fainted when I saw a doll dressed in baby clothes inside the coffin. I couldn’t believe what was happening,” Zulu recounted to Daily Sun.

The doll was meticulously dressed to resemble a newborn, lying in the coffin, exposing Makukeke’s elaborate ruse.
As the shocking truth unraveled, Makukeke reportedly fled the scene amid the chaos and confusion, and she has not been seen or heard from since.
The discovery left Zulu, his family, and the gathered mourners in a state of shock and outrage. The community, which had come together to support Zulu in his grief, was left grappling with the betrayal.
“I don’t understand why she did this to me. I spent so much—on transport, food, even the grave. She kept asking for money throughout the pregnancy. I’m hurt and confused,” Zulu said, adding that he is now seeking counseling to cope with the emotional toll of the ordeal.
