Captain Ibrahim’s flight to Moscow was a private firefighter jet sent by Russian president Putin to pick him directly from Burkina Faso

Today May 9, marks anorther historic day in the history of Russia as they observe their Victory Day celebration.

Leaders across the world are currently present in Russia upon invitation by the Russian president himself.

One notable name of world leaders present at the event is no other person than Africa’s very own hero, Captain Ibrahim Traore.

According to reports, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a private Jet and some of the Russian Forces to come Pick him directly from Burkina Faso.

The Burkina Faso leader arrived in Moscow hours ago for  Russia’s Victory Day celebrations.

Known as an event that takes place annually, this year’s marks the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany.

Captain Ibrahim Traore’s participation at the event highlights then strong bond extablished between Burkina Faso and Russia.

Other world leaders including United States’ very own president, Donald Trump, Chinese President Xi are all present currently at the event.
