On Facebook, we are told the story of an army officer who had returned from work after months away to spend quality time with his wife and what he encountered.
The military officer whose name was not revealed as the narrator, Xavier shared had requested time off to enjoy with his beloved wife at home.
Only for him to come and realize his wife is menstruating which will definitely affect their enjoyment.
He requested his superiors for an extension of his leave and the conversation between him and his superiors has warmed hearts all over.

He complained to them that his wife is in that time of the month so an extension of his leave will afford him more time to do everything he has to do.
In his boss’ reply, he was told to tackle the situation from behind as the danger there is very little.
They denied his leave extension request.
Xavier wrote;
“Military officer was given a 3-day leave to go and enjoy with his newly wedded wife. He arrived home and realised that his wife was in her monthly period!
He had to send an SOS message to headquarters requesting an extension of his leave days. He prepared his message in a usual military-coded language.

He wrote;
~Soldier: Omega one,..this is omega twelve. Danger from the field. Red in front. Leave extension-requested. Do you read me . Red in front… Passage not clear, extend leave?

Headquarters replied:
This is omega one, we read you loud and clear. The danger is minimal. Attack from the back and resume immediately. Leave extension denied”
