Another tragedy hit the Aviation sector and the world again in a plane crash involving An American passenger jet and the US military jet.

According to reports, An American flight collided with the United States military jet mid air.
The coalition has resulted to both jets crashing into the Washington DC river, sparking another huge concern over plane crashes.

Regan Airport broke the news in a statement that reads:
“Around 9 p.m. on Wednesday evening, emergency personnel at Reagan National Airport initiated their response to a crash between a passenger aircraft, identified by the FAA as American Eagle flight 5342, and a Sikorsky helicopter.”

“Mutual aid from neighboring agencies were called to assist, and takeoffs and landings at the airport were halted for the remainder of the evening. We will continue to post information as it becomes available.”
CNN reported that Moments before the crash, an air traffic controller can be heard asking the helicopter if it has the American Airlines passenger jet “in sight”, according to CNN.
Another warning is given by air traffic control and seconds later the collision happens.
