Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah has once again come under fire from his Muslim fans following his yearly custom of celebrating the yuletide.
Muslim fans criticised Mohamed Salah on Instagram after he posted a Christmas message to his Christian fans.

He shared a photo of himself with his entire family in front of a Christmas tree in his living room.
For his Christmas post, he and his wife Magi and their daughters Makka and Kayan all wore matching pyjamas and grinned in front of their tree and a gingerbread man as has become their custom.
“Merry Christmas” is the caption that the Muslim Liverpool star wrote on the picture.

While some Muslims participate in the celebrations held during the Christian holiday Muslims do not customarily celebrate Christmas.
His post was not well-received by most of his Muslim fans as they have expressed their displeasure with his move and condemned him claiming he has disrespected his maker.

‘You let me down bro,’ wrote one user on Instagram, where Salah shared the post with his 63.7 million followers.
‘Delete this right now,’ posted another, while a third wrote: ‘At this point am just disappointed in you bro.’
Another said: ‘We Muslim people look up to you and you do this in return,’ accompanied by three crying emojis.

Others defended Salah, with one fan writing: ‘Merry Christmas Mo. Ignore all these idiots. Hope you and your family have a well deserved holiday season.’
Another posted: ‘In what has become an annual tradition on Christmas Day, I read and enjoy the comments on post for an hour. Never disappoints.’
