A married woman has expressed his utter dismay as she calls out Nigerian filmmakers after seeing her photo and that of her husband in a local movie.
The lady who uses the handle Larabillionaire on X revealed that she saw her wedding photograph with her wedded husband in a movie without her permission.
According to Larabillionaire, who is based in the UK, the filmmaker took her wedding photo with her hubby and photoshopped their faces by removing their faces and replacing them with the actors’ faces in the movie.
She shared her outrage on X, while sharing an image she captured on television as the photo was pinned to the wall in the movie, she wrote: “Huge chunk of those in the Nigerian entertainment industry (and the whole country tbh) have an affinity for mediocrity
“Shoddy attempt at creativity and just overall unprofessionalism.
“Cos why is my wedding picture in a movie with faces of the actors plastered on our faces?”
She added: “I’ve tried my best to reach out to the writer(?) of the movie, all to no avail. As a person in such public space, why are you unreachable? Just senseless on all fronts.”
