We have learned that Nigerian Grammy award-singer, Burna Boy has dropped the criminal charges against US-based rapper, Speed Darlington.
A social media content creator, made it known in a video that Burna Boy decided not to press criminal charges against Speed Darlington but rather press a civil case against him.
You would recall that Burna Boy called for the arrest of Speed Darlington who had returned from abroad to see her family after he made some derogatory and image-tarnishing remarks about Burna Boy.

In the video, the content creator, called Very Dark Man indicated that Speed Darlington is likely to be released from jail on Monday.
“Shoutout to Burna Boy, for what you did. You’ve earned my respect. Hopefully, Speed Darlington will be out on Monday”, VDM stated in the video.
Nigerians have since the revelation on updates to the burna boy story, commended Burna boy for being considerate.
