Moment Cameroonian football star Samuel Eto’o met with his childhood teammate, now working as a security guard

It was an emotional moment when Cameroonian football legend, Samuel Eto’o Fils reunited with his longtime teammate in public for the first time.

Samuel Eto’o, a great achiever in the football arena is currently the President of the Cameroon Football Association.

In a video making rounds online, Samuel Eto who was making his way out of a building bumped into one of the security guards there.

To his surprise, the security guard was a childhood friend who he was playing alongside in the same team before he travelled to Europe to advance his football career.

In the video that has warmed hearts all over, Samuel Eto was very excited to see him and he hugged the man as he told onlookers about his relationship with him.

For the purposes of clarity, an Instagram user identified as @vicciglow who understands what ensued between the two friends offered a translation in English at it read;

“Translation of what Eto’o said to him “we need to meetup, we can’t speak right now because I have meetings in 10 minutes but tell Christian ( assistant of eto’o) to do everything, we meetup, we gonna speak. my friend I am happy to see you.”

Reacting to the video, netizens were pleased by how Eto didn’t snub the man because of his status.

talktoshe wrote; “The sec guy must have told people he knew Eto and they didn’t believe him, now they know.
Humble Eto stopped to honour him. God bless you”
