A South African lady has reaffirmed her decision to remain a virgin as she turns a year older.
In celebration of her 24 birthday, the lady known as Philile Mkhonza shared a goal she wants to achieve which she described as a personal milestone and that to keep her virginity intact till marriage.
Philile Mkhonza made this public via her Facebook page and she opined that keeping your body holy and chaste is not for your husbands but it is for God.
She urged young women to uphold their honor of remaining a virgin till they get married because it is possible to achieve it.
“As I approach my 24th birthday next year, I want to share a personal milestone: I’ve chosen to remain a virgin,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
“I post about this annually in the hopes of inspiring and encouraging young women who may be navigating societal pressures. Don’t believe the lie that casual sex or premarital sex is the norm. Instead, strive for purity and holiness – a standard that is achievable regardless of your past.

“Even if you’ve already lost your virginity, you can still commit to living a life of purity and holiness. Ultimately, our commitment to purity is not about our future spouses, but about our devotion to God. We don’t keep ourselves pure for our future husbands, our allegiance is to God!
“To the young girls who may be reading this, I want to assure you that it’s entirely possible to maintain your virginity . Hold on to God, and He will empower you to live a life of purity and holiness.”
