I watched 1998 World Cup Final through my neighbor’s window, dreaming of becoming a professional football player and making Africa proud – Adebayor

Togolese international footballer, Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor has opened up on some aspects of his life and career.

In an exclusive interview, Adebayor shared his humble beginnings and how he started from nothing to becoming a global star.

He recalled how he watched the 1998 World Cup from a neighbour’s window and wished to play for the top football clubs in the world one day in his lifetime.

According to the former Arsenal and Manchester City player, dreams come true but you have to believe it and work towards achieving it.

Adebayor who played for Spanish giants, Real Madrid expressed how great he felt to have played alongside Portuguese legend, Cristiano Ronaldo on the pitch.

He described it as a wonderful experience and counted himself blessed to have lived his dreams in his lifetime.
