“You were seizing lands without compensation and failing to prosecute related violence” – Donald Trump tells South African president

It is fair to say Donald Trump isn’t happy with the ongoings issues happening in South Africa.

A meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa took place earlier yesterday.

The meeting someohow turned contentious after Trump confronted Ramaphosa over alleged violence against white farmers.

The United States president backed his claims with a video of Julius Malema singing a controversial anti-apartheid chant.

During the Oval Office meeting, President Trump accused the South African government of ignoring what he described as the targeted killing of white farmers.

This issue has been a matter of concern for sometime now and became a claim long dismissed by local authorities in South Africa and international watchdogs.

The U.S. president alleged a “genocide” was underway and claimed the country was seizing land without compensation and failing to prosecute related violence.
