A 24-year-old woman, identified as Audrey Schump, was arrested in Nashville on Thursday, June 12, after allegedly stealing a $30,000 Rolex Daytona from a man she met at a bar on Broadway, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by WVLT.

The incident occurred after the victim and his friends, who had been partying in downtown Nashville, invited two women, including Schump, back to their Airbnb in the 900 block of Southside Place.

At some point during the visit, the victim removed his Rolex Daytona and placed it under a hat on his nightstand before stepping into the bathroom.

Upon returning, he reportedly caught Schump reaching across the bed toward the spot where the watch was hidden, the affidavit states. Schump then abruptly fled the room with a friend.

The victim immediately called 911, providing police with a description of Schump’s clothing. Officers located her and her companion approximately a block and a half from the rental unit.
