The goal came in the 21st or 22nd minute, as reported by various sources, with Palmer showcasing his composure and skill.
The goal was assisted by a diagonal pass from Trevoh Chalobah and he maneuvered past defenders and slotted the ball into the bottom corner.
The goal gave Chelsea a 1-0 lead against the French Champios in a game that the London club have been tagged as the underdogs.
