The highly controversial United States General, Michael Langley has arrived in Kenya.
Details of the main reason for his trip to Kenya is yet to be confirmed but a photo of him with Kenya’s leader is currently going viral.

Known as the head of AFRICOM, General Michael Langley became a topic of discussion when he made some controversial remarks about Burkina Faso’s President Captain Ibrahim Traoré.
His comments came during a U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on April 3, 2025.
While responding to one of the Senate question about corruption linked to Chinese trade, Langley alleged that Captain Ibrahim Traore internationally kept the western powers away from the country’s gold reserve for his personal gains.
“Captain Ibrahim Traoré in Burkina Faso, their gold reserves are just in exchange to protect the junta regime,”.
This comments suggests that Traoré was misusing Burkina Faso’s $4 billion gold reserves to sustain his military rule rather than for public welfare.
He hasn’t been a man loves by Africans since that comment but well he is in Kenya now and we don’t know what he’s up to this time.
