The entire African continent is rallying behind Captain Ibrahim Traore and the people of Burkina Faso in ongoing attempts to safeguard their natural resources.
But then an X user has made a critical observation and came out with a major concern that Africans needs to look into if they really want to side with Burkina Faso.
There have been ongoing issues surrounding Burkina Faso’s minerals especially mining of gold in the country.

Captain Ibrahim Traore, following a successful military takeover, have been doing everything possible to dismiss French troops out of the country.
Having made lots of developmental statements already, the Burkina Faso leader isn’t interested in doing any business with the Europeans.
United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) during a U.S. Senate hearing, accused Captain Ibrahim Traore of mismanagement of the country’s gold reserve for his personal interest.
According to him, The President of Burkina Faso is using the country’s gold reserves for personal protection rather than for the benefit of its people.”
Captain Ibrahim Traore gained more supports from a large part of Africans as they encourage him not to bow down to the pressure of the Europeans and the Americans.
A young man, identified as @ace_yokoe is worried that the Americans would come for Traore just as they did to Gaddafi.

He argued that many are throwing supports online but wouldn’t take the risk to join Burkina Faso’s military to fight their enemies.
“Unfortunately y’all be talking online but none would volunteer to join Military service in Burkina Faso to defend them incase NATo starts the process . Y’all never did anything when Gadafi was being attacked” he wrote
