Russian has launched a rocket attack on the Ukrainian city of Sumy as their ongoing war seems not to have a ceasefire decision on the cards soon.
Reports said the attack has claimed the lives of three people and injuring 25, including 14 children.

The attack which has been described as savage by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, involved rockets from a multiple launch rocket system.
It was launched targeting civilian areas, with one unexploded rocket lodging in an apartment building.
The attack damaged a medical facility, cars, and homes, and was condemned as a deliberate strike on civilians by Ukraine authorities.
The strike comes barely 48 hours after Ukrainian drone attack on Russian airfields in Siberia.

Ukraine president, Zelensky confirmed the attack in an X post in which he accused Russia for deliberately targeting helpless civilians.
“The Russians launched a savage strike on Sumy – directly targeting the city and its ordinary streets with rocket artillery. It was a fully deliberate attack on civilians. A rescue operation is currently underway. Many people have been wounded. As of now, three people have been confirmed dead. My condolences go out to their families and loved ones. All emergency services are engaged to assist everyone affected.” He said
