Donald Trump talks about his relationship with Diddy when asked if he will grant him a pardon

In a recent White House press briefing, President Donald Trump addressed questions about a potential pardon for Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing serious legal troubles including charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.

When asked if he would consider pardoning his former friend, Trump responded with a mix of personal reflection and conditional consideration.

“I have not seen him, I haven’t spoken to them in years he used really like me alot,”Trump stated, acknowledging a once-close relationship that has since broken.

Trump noted that their friendship soured when he entered politics, a period marked by what he described as “nasty statements” from Combs.

Despite this, Trump emphasized that any decision regarding a pardon would be based on the facts of the case rather than personal sentiments.

“First of all look at what is happening and I haven’t been watching it too closely although its certainly getting a lot of coverage,” he told the press.

“It’s not a popularity contest. So I don’t know I’ll certainly look at the facts if I think somebody was mistreated.”

“Whether they like or don’t like me it wouldn’t have any impact on them,” he continued.

Diddy and Trump were once close friends who were even seen together in public. The friendship went south when Trump entered into politics and Diddy endorsed an opposing candidate.
