United States president, Donald Trump is not backing down on his promise to end birthright citizenship in the US.

One of the key policies Donald Trump is pushing very hard is to end birthright citizenship for people who come into the United States.
The policy has however been subjected to criticism by a large section of Citizens and diplomates.

But then the president is not easily going to back down to the criticisms he has been subjected to concerning the policy.
According to him, the amendment that allows birthright citizenship in the first place was only for African American slaves.

He argued that illegal migrants are taking advantage of the amendment to exploit loop holes in it to have American citizen through birthright.
