Trump orders deployment of 2,000 National Guard personnel to LA amidst ongoing riots

President Donald Trump has ordered the deployment of 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles on to address protests sparked by immigration raids conducted by ICE.

The deployment is said to have bypassed California Governor Gavin Newsom’s authority.

It was however justified by Trump under a provision of Title 10 of the U.S. Code, citing “rebellion or danger of rebellion” due to protests interfering with federal operations.

Things are currently getting out of hand in Los Angeles, where protesters took over the streets in disagreement with Donald Trump’s immigration raid.

Since January, ICE have been working on deporting immigrants who are said to be residing in the Country illegally.

This comes after an order from president Donald Trump, who made it as one of his topmost priority to deport illegal migrants out of the country.

The operation in Los Angeles has since turned violence with mass looting and other unattractive happenings in the area.

This prompt President Donald Trump to deploy National guard personnel to Los Angeles to chase out the protesters.
