Things are getting interesting in Tema as traditional priestesses in Tema stormed the streets of Tema clad in red cloths.
Their reason for hitting the streets is to express their disagreement in Ebi Bright’s appointment as Tema Mayor.

The group cited non-indigenous background as the reason for their decision to be in disagreement with her appointment.
Ebi Bright is rumored to be named as the mayor of Tema a day ago but the decision is receiving some backlash from some group of people.
Some group of people made a point that the young female politician is not a true daughter of the land and shouldn’t be accepted as the next Mayor.

Ebi Bright’s root can be traced to the Volta Region and the group is of the view they cannot allow someone from a different region or tribe be their mayor.
