Ghanaian actress Maame Serwaa in a recent interview has expressed how she was blamed and accused by people for the death of her mother.
During an interview on Okukuseku with fellow actress Emelia Brobrey, the actress broke down in tears as she lamented about how cruel accusations were made against her following her mother’s death.

“Once it happened that she’s there no more, it became hard for me because people got to know Maame Serwaa because of my mother. So when she died and I heard people saying she has killed her mother, she has used her mom for something I was really hurt,” she told Emelia.
Maame Serwaa also talked about how she underwent emotional turmoil during that stage of her life and how she these allegations against her pushed her into depression and almost made her attempt suicide.
“Just imagine if I was just a normal child who had lost her mom, would day have said these things about me?” she asked Emelia during the interview as she continued crying.
