Captain Ibrahim Traore has sent a powerful message to celebrate Burkina Faso’s Day of Customs and Traditions, emphasizing unity and ancestral heritage.

Today May 15 happen led to be the day the People of Burkina Faso celebrate their customs and traditions.

Labeled as the Custom and Tradition day, it marks one of the most important events in the country’s history.

According to their president Captain Ibrahim Traore, the day marks an opportunity for every citizen to draw what he described as a fertile source of their ancestral knowledge.

His speech emphasize unity and ancestral heritage with Cultural traditions strengthening their identity and social bonds as a country.

“Today, May 15, our country commemorates Customs and Traditions Day. This day is an opportunity to draw on the fertile sources of our ancestral knowledge to invigorate our love for our homeland. The heritage inherited from our ancestors is our fortress. I hope that through this celebration, traditionalists will keep Burkina Faso in their prayers. May this celebration strengthen tolerance, acceptance of our differences in beliefs, and mutual respect, so that together we can build a peaceful, united, supportive, and prosperous Burkina Faso.
