The judicial system has sentenced a stepfather to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 25 years for his crime of shaking a 22-month-old toddler to de@th after his late-night video gaming session.
The Mail Online reports that 38-year-old Christopher Stockton had exclusive responsibility for Charlie Roberts when he subjected the boy to violent shaking at their Darlington residence, resulting in brain movement within his skull.

Information was collected indicating that the murderer attempted to conceal the homicide by asserting that young Charlie had suffocated on a Hobnob biscuit.
The Teesside Crown Court heard in December that Roberts, aged 41, harbored enough suspicion regarding Stockton to prompt her to install a spy camera above her son’s cot.

Even though she experienced fear regarding her relationship with him, she maintained their connection and remained involved with him after expressing her worries about Stockton to her brother.
Roberts first rejected the child cruelty accusation but later confessed to neglecting her son by not seeking medical care for bruises caused by Stockton during several weeks.
The individual she was dating received legal convictions for both murder and child cruelty.
The judicial system sentenced Stockton to a life imprisonment term which requires him to serve at least 25 years before becoming eligible for parole.

The legal system has sentenced Roberts to a four-year term of incarceration.
