Speaker of the Ghanaian Parliament Alan Bagbin, has announced that there is going to be a new award scheme called “Vulture Awards” for men and women considered perverse.

The aim of this award will be to seek out individuals who are failing in their various offices. Speaking to the parliament house, Alan said;
“Therefore, apart from the National Integrity Award, that is awarded to men and women of integrity, there will also be what we’ll term vulture awards.”
“It will be bestowed upon men and women considered perverse and person with the lowest levels of integrity in the country,” he explained.

According to the Bagbin, Ghana is in a transformative state and all must attest to that. “There is a transformative initiative, and this is the key to do that,” he concluded.
