In South Carolina, families are being paid $25 a week if their kids are able to show up at school everyday of the week.
The program which started on March 10 has already paid over $30,000 to various families who’s kids met the threshold.

Schools in Charleston County School District have also paid $25 a week per student to at least 1,900 students and their families since the program was initialized.
This is a new incentive program that aims to motivate students to attend school regularly.
