Russia fines google $2.5 decillion which is larger than the world’s GDP for blocking Russian YouTube accounts

The government of Russia has taken legal action against Google, demanding some crazy amount of compensation.

Russia sued Google for an insane figure or $2.5 decillion as part of their anger towards google blocking Russian YouTube accounts.

This development doesn’t come as a surprise but the interesting in is that, the amount quoted is  more than the world’s GDP.

This comes after a Russian court has ruled that Google owes Russian media stations around $20 decillion in fines for blocking their contents.

“Google was called by a Russian court to administrative liability under Art. 13.41 of the Administrative Offenses Code for removing channels on the YouTube platform. The court ordered the company to restore these channels,” lawyer Ivan said.
