A South Sudanese referee has decided to bring a football match to a premature end due to water crises.

The referee was the taking charge of a league match between Mabor and Nwazifeen.
The South Sudan referee decided to end a match early because he was thirsty and needed to go and search for water to drink.

According to reports from South Sudan, the referee was not provided with drinking water for the duration of the match.
Interestingly, the players also did not accept to share their water with the referee during the match.
As a result, he referee, who was thirsty during the game hortened the match and blew the final whistle in the middle of the game when the scoreline was 1-1.
