Hip-hop artist Ja Rule is risking money to dispel a persistent rumour about his longtime rival 50 Cent.
Anyone who can provide proof that 50 Cent bought hundreds of tickets to one of his shows in order to empty the front rows—a claim that has fueled their decades-long feud—will receive $10000 from the rapper.

The drama rekindled on Sunday (December 29) when Ja Rule declared his New Year’s resolution on social media: “My New Year resolution is to be PETTY.” A fan replied, urging him to take aim at 50 Cent by referencing the infamous empty seats prank.
Ja Rule fired back, labelling the story a lie. “You believe this dumb s###???” he tweeted, accompanied by cap emojis. He reiterated his previous challenge, offering $10,000 to anyone who could provide footage or a photo proving the prank took place. “What city/venue did this said show take place??? @50cent is a fat f###### LIAR,” Ja added.

The rapper also made fun of a negative picture of 50 Cent and said he was excited about his rival’s potential reaction.
50 Cent first started the rumour on Instagram in 2018 when he said he paid $3000 for 200 tickets to a Ja Rule show in Arlington Texas using Groupon guaranteeing that the seats would remain empty.

In a recent interview with Big Boy TV, he reiterated the story claiming that he had bought seats in the first four rows as a practical joke explaining that it was fun.
“I wanted him to feel like he needed to connect with the crowd, and they were four or five rows back.”
