Prez. Zelensky says Ukraine got only $75 billion support from US during Russian w@r

President of Ukraine, Zelensky has debunked rumors his side recieved a a huge sum of money following Russia’s invasion.

It was reported earlier that Ukraine has benefited very well from the United States during the w@r.

A figure around $200 Billion was quoted to have been sent by the United to support Ukraine.

But the the president is making it clear that the said amount quoted is completely false and revealed his side recieved only received support in the region of $70 Billion.

Addressing the issue, The Ukrainian president said:

“We are talking about specific things. We did not receive this as cash, but as weapons. We have received over $70 billion in weapons. There is training, transport, humanitarian and social programs, and so on. But when people say that Ukraine received $200 billion to support the army during the war, that is not true,” Zelenskyy stated.

He further quized the whereabout of the said amount given to Ukraine and suggest it may only exist in a book.

“I don’t know where all that money is. Maybe it exists on paper. Maybe so – we don’t argue and we are grateful for everything. But as President, I record that we have received over $70 billion. That is significant aid, but it is not 200,” he added.
