President Trump on Monday threatened to increase tariffs against China again if does not remove the retaliatory tariffs it placed on the U.S.
China has criticized Trump’s tariff policy, calling it “economic bullying.”

Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform that the U.S., would “impose ADDITIONAL Tariffs on China of 50% ” if China doesn’t “withdraw its 34% increase” by tomorrow.

This new tariff would be in addition to the 34% “reciprocal” tariff Trump announced last week is set to go into effect on Wednesday and the 20% that is already in place, making for a potential total of a 104% tariff.
In his post, Trump also stated that all negotiations with China “will be terminated.” However, they will negotiate with ithr. the countries.
