What happened when U.S President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met briefly before the funeral of Pope Francis

Before the final funeral rite for Pope Francis on Saturday, President Donald Trump and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met briefly.

According to the White House, the meeting and discussion were very productive. However, details about the meeting have yet to be released.

The meeting between the two leaders was held inside St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican and it went on for about 15 minutes.

In a post on his X timeline, Zelenskyy also stated the meeting was a “good meeting.”

Trump also met with other world leaders including French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
