Nigerian TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, was reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen during a livestream on Wednesday night, August 27, 2025.
Peller was apparently on his way back home after going to get food from town when his car was approached and stopped by kidnappers.

In a viral video which was allegedly captured during his kidnapping, Peller was live on TikTok when the incident happened.
The young influencer was heard questioning them about why they were pointing gun on him. The kidnappers, who wouldn’t budge kept asking him to come down from his car.

After minutes of confrontation between the kidnappers and the influencer, Peller was heard giving a loud cry before everything went quiet.
His abandoned car was later found by the police with his phone inside. His girlfriend, Jarvis, also made a post about the incident.

Earlier this morning his colleague, Sandra Benede, announced in a video that Peller had been located and was with the Divisional Police Officer (DPO).
While some shared in his sympathy, other social media reactions speculated the event might have been staged.
