Mathias Pogba, the brother of former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba has been sentenced to prison.

On Thursday, December 19, a Paris criminal court to has sentenced him to three years in prison in an extortion and kidnapping case involving him and his brother Paul Pogba.
Mathias Pogba had already spent time in detention and the remainder of the sentence will be served under house arrest with electronic monitoring.

The case at the Paris criminal court took place without the presence of the former Manchester United player.
Pogba and his brother have had a rough relationship for sometime now and things aren’t still well between them.
Mathias accused his brother of using black magic and Paul Pogba responded to that with claims his brother was extorting him.

In response to the rulling, Mathias Pogba’s lawyer said his sentence is in line with the prosecution’s request and he would appeal the ruling.
