North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has once again expressed his unending support for Russia against Ukraine.
The North Korean leader made this clear during multiple meetings with Russian officials with the most recent one in June.

Just as we reported earlier, On June 3, 2025 a meeting took place between Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu and the North Korea leader in Pyongyang.
During the meeting, Kim vowed to back Russia’s foreign policies, including on the Ukraine issue, and to uphold a mutual defense treaty signed about a year ago.
So far their support for each other has materialized through significant military cooperation and Russia is confident with their backing.
In April 2025, North Korea and Russia confirmed for the first time that North Korean troops were deployed to fight alongside Russian forces.
This marks the North Korea’s first major involvement in a foreign conflict since the Korean War.
North Korea has also supplied Russia with millions of rounds of artillery, rockets, and ballistic missiles, bolstering Moscow’s war effort.
In return, Russia is believed to provide economic aid, air defense equipment, and possibly advanced military technology.
