No more US Spouse Visa for Immigrants, mass deportation ahead as Court cancelled Prez. Joe Biden’s spouse immigration program

On Thursday, a federal judge ruled against President Joe Biden’s immigration program.

This program was designed to provide unauthorized immigrants who are married to American citizens with legal status and a streamlined path to U.S. citizenship.

However, it has now been declared illegal by a federal judge according to sources from the United States.

Judge J. Campbell Barker, a U.S. District Court judge appointed by President Donald Trump, found that the program violates U.S. immigration law. His decision aligns with a lawsuit filed by Texas and 15 other Republican-led states.

According to CBS News, “The ruling is a major defeat for the outgoing Biden administration, which argued the policy, known as Keeping Families Together, promoted family unity among mixed-status households. When it was announced earlier this year, officials said roughly half a million undocumented immigrants were likely eligible for the program.”
