Niger State Governor calls for the arrest of youth with dreadlocks, says police should treat them as armed robbers

The Governor of the State of Niger has directed all security agencies in the state to arrest every guy seen with dreadlocks.

In a move to increase security in Niger State, Governor Mohammed Umar Bago has directed all securities agencies to treat all with dreadlocks as criminals.

“Anybody you find with unbarbed or dreadlocks arrest him, barb his hair, and fine him,” he said during his press conference.

“Anybody you find with a weapon, deal with him as an armed robber,” Umar Bago continued saying.

The Governor also used the opportunity to extend a stern warning to parents who have kids with dreadlocks.

“For parents, warn your children, warn your boys, from this moment it’s going to be fire for fire,” he stated.

Bago also told the security agencies to demolish any house that habours a criminal.

“Any house found harboring a criminal should be demolished,” he stated. “Niger State is not for useless people.”
