The newly appointed Israeli ambassador to Senegal, Yuval Waks is facing a though time in the African country.
Fresh reports says he was forced to leave Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) in Dakar.

This was after students protested his presence when was scheduled to speak at a conference on international relations on the campus.
The ambassadors faced intense opposition from students chanting pro-Palestinian slogans such as “Free Palestine,” “Free Gaza,” and “Israel is a war criminal.”
Videos circulating online show students waving Palestinian flags, booing, and preventing Waks from delivering his speech.
Students were still shouting at him when Security escorted him off the campus for safety.

There have been a long-standing conflict between Israel and Palestine with many across the world tagging Israel as the aggressor.
Free Palestine chants have been in existence since their conflict and with Senegal being a Muslim dominated country, it is understandable why they’ll pick side with Palestine.
