The containers were tracked to a warehouse in Sapeiman, Ga South Municipality after National Security received a tip-off.
This led them to launch a special operation at the site.
Inside the containers, they found the money, primarily bundles of U.S. dollars, hidden in wooden boxes filled with cement to keep them out of sight.
During the operation, they also opened more boxes in the warehouse and discovered additional cash concealed behind plywood and sealed with charcoal.
