NASA released the sharpest and clearest image of the Sun, described as a high-resolution 12,544×12,544-pixel mosaic showing plasma granules, sunspots, and magnetic fields.

The photo was captured by NASA’s Parker Solar Probe. It is the closest-ever images of the Sun’s atmosphere during its record-breaking flyby on December 24, at 3.8 million miles from the solar surface.
