Man busted for impersonating a military officer, lived in the Baracks and gained access to restricted areas for years

A Kenyan civilian who has no military background at all has been  was arrested for impersonating.

On April 20, 2025, the young man was arrested for impersonating a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer at Embakasi Garrison in Nairobi.

He reportedly lived in the military barracks, wore military uniforms and stayed with them like a trained officer.

He is also alleged to have gained unrestricted access to sensitive areas in the nation’s capital, Nairobi and other parts for days.

Well there’s a saying Everyday for the thief and one day for the master so he’s definitely going to be caught someday.

His day came when officers noticed his poor trigger discipline in a photo which raised alar and led to his arrest.

He faces charges of impersonation and unlawful access to military facilities.
