Mahama Ayariga’s residence in Bawku set on fire by unknown youths

The ongoing violent clash in Bawku has escalated once again as Mahama Ayariga’s house is set on fire.

Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga’s house has reportedly been set on fire.

There have been tension all around Bawku for years now now and all efforts to calm the situation turned out to be a failed attempt.

On Friday April 11, news broke out about another incident involving properties of the Member of Parliament.

The MP, who now holds the position as the Majority leader in Parliament confirmed the news himself in a press statement.

This comes just days after police officers were attacked by Youths in Bawku that led to the death of some unknown person.

The MP however pledge his support to all agencies involved in resolving the long existing tension in the area.
