There is an ongoing tension between Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly and the United States president, Donald Trump.
Donald Trump had signed an executive order requiring citizenship as a proof to voter registration and voting.

The order was met with a legal battle that saw Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly ruling against the executive order.
The judge, Collen Kollar-Kotelly ruled that there is no authority given to the president to change election laws.
She therefore block Trump’s order to require proof of citizenship to register to vote.
Her verdict may just be a set up for herself considering that she was appointed into office by Trump’s biggest party rival, The Democrats’ very own Clinton.
Many Americans across social media platforms expressed their disappointment in the verdict, describing it as a judicial coup.

A large section of X users are already calling for his impeachment as they want her out of the judicial department while labeling her as an activist judge.
