Iran begins retaliation, launched 6 missiles at US bases in Qatar

Iran has launched six missiles targeting the United States Al Udeid Air Base that is located in Qatar.

The strike is in retaliation for the recent attack by the United States, an airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

The attack was described as a measured response, with the number of missiles matching the U.S. bombs used in the prior strikes, suggesting an intent to avoid escalation.

Air defenses reportedly intercepted the missiles, and the U.S. had already evacuated personnel and assets from the base, minimizing damage.

Qatar, a country that isn’t already to join the ongoing war has condemned the attack as a violation of its sovereignty.

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued statements verifying the strike.
