An avalanche of reactions has flooded social media following the announcement by Chelsea striker, Sam Kerr and her partner, Kristie Mewis that they are expecting a baby together in 2025.
Sam Kerr who took to her Instagram disclosed this exciting news to her fans on the photo-video sharing app.
In the post, Sam shared a collage of black and white images parading an image of the ultrasound scan and in the other photo, she is seen pointing to the belly of Kristie Mewis.

Reacting to this after Sky Sports congratulated the lovers on social media, an account user who uses the handle, @erlingRoIe took to his X account to express how perplexed he is as he wonders who decides to get pregnant for the other since the partners involved are females.
In what appears as hilarious, ErlingRoIe asked if the person to get pregnant in the union is determined by a penalty shootout.
