President Donald Trump hosted Laken Riley’s family at the White House.
President Trump signed the Laken Riley Act into law which mandates the detention and deportation of illegal alien criminals.

The act also allows states to sue if immigration laws aren’t enforced.
Laken Riley’s mother Allyson Phillip, expressed her gratitude to President Trump for fulfilling his promise to make America safe for its citizens.

“Our family will forever be grateful for the prayers of people across our nation and for helping to pass this legislation,” she added.
She then thanked President Trump.
“He (Trump) said he would secure our borders and that he would never forget Laken,” she said before tearfully adding, “And he hasn’t… We trust that he will fight for the American people.”

Phillips then gave an emotional thank you to Jesus, saying, “Without his sacrifices, Laken’s story would have ended on that horrific day she was taken from us. Because of him, we can continue living knowing that we will see Laken again.”
“I thank President Trump for the promises he made to us. He said he would secure our borders and that he would never forget about Laken. And he hasn’t. He’s a man of his word.” she said.
